The Kindle Fire HD Family comprises: 7-Inch Kindle Fire HD 8.9-inch Kindle Fire HD LTE 8.9-inch Kindle Fire HD All three run on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and feature Wi-Fi, Front-facing HD cameras, and Dual stereo speakers with Dolby Digital Plus audio. Amazon claims that the Wi-Fi technology featured on the tablets - dual antenna, dual-band, and MIMO - gives 40% faster downloads and streaming compared to the next fastest tablet (Apple iPad).
