Fisher Thierry Cell Phone

Considering that we don’t have squares for hands and square-angled fingertips, it is surprising that there are not too many curvy communication gadgets . We may even say there are too few, so this curvy cell phone by designer Fisher Thierry does rather stand out.The phone features a large screen below which it goes into a curve carrying the buttons. It ends unexpectedly cutting off the “*”, the “#” and the “0” buttons, so every time you are tempted to turn the device over to see if they are located on the back side. It may also make an unwelcome bulge in a tight-fitting pocket or misbalance a loose-fitting one, so these nice curves may take some getting accustomed to. Still, a stylish gadget is always worth it, right?

Manfred Kielnhofer Lighted Time Guards

Manfred Kielnhofer is one designer that took security onto a new level. Time is what we have to guard most in the new year, he believes, so his present to the world is life-size figures that he called Time Guards . It’s a bit off the mark whether he drew inspiration from the time of the inquisition or from Tolkien’s Ringwraiths, but the figures look like something created for a creepy movie. With energy-saving 32W lights inside, they light up in different colors exuding a very special atmosphere like nothing else would – when you’re in the right mood.

Sexy Zipper Earphones

One of those little things that we need oh so badly every now and then is tangle free cords for our gadgets and devices . An inextricable-looking tangle of cords is never too petty an occurrence to get our teeth on the edge or end up with a broken-up or torn-out cord. DGA’s latest headphone design is called upon to deal with that. Your new tangle free zipper earphones hold a promise of an exasperation-free listening to music or taking a phone call.

LG Hyun Kim Data Storage Device

While CDs are losing ground to USB storage devices that are far more capacious, erasable, comparatively cheap and handy from all points of view, designers are rejoicing. They could do but little to re-invent CDs and come up with a luxury or quirky model; now with USB devices they can pull as many rabbits out of their hats as they like.USB storage device by designer Hyun Kim is worth considering – a compact shiny affair that swivels round to open, it’s a cute little thing that will store up whatever you need and look elegant to boot.

Stylish BlackBerry Empathy Smartphone

BlackBerrys are surely fetching in design and in shape, well-equipped with sophisticated features and popular enough, which can be ascertained at just a single glance. Are the manufacturers satisfied with that? Not on your life. They are working to push the smartphone further into the future, proof to which is the latest concept by designer Daniel Yoon . His idea of a future BlackBerry is called the Empathy. The cool BlackBerry features (a translucent keyboard, movable keys, a flexible OLED display and a heads up facility) are augmented by a mood ring . Its sensors handle receiving and sending out the information about your – and other people’s – moods and emotional states via direct access to network social sites. Moreover, the Empathy mirrors the owner’s mood changing the color of the keypad. Good enough to grab it when it has been launched, isn’t it?

Stylish Domino Wall Clock

A new wall clock concept has just come from Seattle-based product development consultancy CarbonDesign Group. To add some visual interest they also alternate between black and white. The time-telling dominoes is just one of ideas selected for a Carbon Passion Project launched by CarbonDesign Group intended, as Google’s 20% Time does, to encourage creative imagination.

Kenneth Cole Touch Screen Watches

If you are looking for some of the best gifts for this year’s holiday gifts then Kenneth Cole Touch Screen Watch is worth considering. Kenneth Cole’s line of Touch Screen Watches is surely a fun and attractive to look at. Well they are not as good as Patel Philippe or an IWC but they are far better than C asio G-Shock . There’s nothing revolutionary on these Kenneth Cole Touch Screen Watches beyond the fact that they have touch screen and have Digi-Touch technology, what they offer, however, are the standard date, time, alarm, stopwatch, 32-city world time, countdown timer, a backlight and water resistance. Corona-Matic Typewriter Waffle Iron

Maybe it’s good old movies that keep reminding us of typewriters , or nostalgia has become an indestructible part of our lives… Isn’t it queer that long-forgotten typewriters should resurface after all those years? Although this time no-one will ask you to type out a document – probably hurting your fingertips in the process. This new gadget isn’t actually a typewriter, it’s a waffle iron created by designer Chris Dimino. And though it is called Corona-Matic , which for older folks sounds as a clear-cut reference to typewriters, the younger generation will surely be associating the waffles it makes with a keyboard, and not with typing out a document, but with playing a computer game.
