Personal Internet Viewer

Technology giant Sony has recently introduced its latest device called Dash Personal Internet Viewer which is an ultra-portable computer that allows users to do web browsing and enjoy a wide array of multimedia features.

As an Internet-enabled device, Dash has more than a thousand of web applications which include video streaming, music, movies, social networking, games, and other entertainment applications. Aside from these features, the miniaturized computer has applications that will allow users to receive the latest blog, weather updates, and traffic information.

Since the ultra-portable computer also features Bravia Internet Video, consumers can instantly stream television shows, movies, and videos from Slacker, YouTube, NetFlix, and other entertainment sites.

Just like all the latest Sony computers, the device boasts a high-definition LCD screen which measures 7-inch diagonally. In addition to its capability to support crystal clear pictures, the screen uses a Touch Sensitive Technology and automatically adjusts the images depending on the viewing angle.

Aside from its video streaming capability, Dash also features a compact audio multi-tool which allows users to listen to MP3 and Internet radio through a built-in stereo speakers that support crisp audio feedback, or headphones (however, the latter is not included upon purchase).

Another multimedia feature is the image support that allows people to directly upload their pictures to photo-sharing sites like Photobucket. In addition, Dash has an interface that allows users to display photos, set effects, zoom in and out images, and use the slide show.

Meanwhile, the computer has a clock and alarm system that has been designed to become interactive. For example, users have the option to set the alarm with the sound of their favorite Internet radio station.

But since Dash is designed as an “entertainment computer”, consumers should not expect any business applications that will allow them to maximize their work. And since the device has been made to become ultra-portable, some might be bothered by its limited screen display. (However, the fact that this gadget has been designed to become a handy Internet viewer, the small screen is forgivable.)

Katy Perry for GHD Hairdryers

Katy Perry for GHD Hairdryers Katy Perry continues working with the producers of GHD hair dryers and GHD hair care products: the singer once again demonstrated her luxurious hair in a fresh advertising campaign – this time she had the image of a diva from “the golden Hollywood” era (the pop-diva had already had the image of a hippie, a disco girl, and a mermaid). Luxurious dresses, bright makeup and a small portion of theatricality – one can immediately see that she is a star! The shooting was run by Ellen von Unwerth, who preferred to focus on restrained sensuality and the interplay of tones rather than on bright colors (the latter are always excessive with Katy) and presented black-and-white portraits of Perry to the public. The girl really looks perfect in the pictures : whether she is playing chess, recovering after a tiring concert or just getting ready to appear on stage. But whose merit is this: that of the photographer, the heroine, or maybe Photoshop?
