Samsung's recently launched Galaxy S smartphone is characterized by a standout four inch touch screen super AMOLED display and never seen before vibrant 3D graphics.
There is a very good reason why the Galaxy's graphics capability stands out, a reason that Samsung's Omar Khan mentioned during his keynote address at the launch of the smartphone at the CTIA conference in Las Vegas on March 23, but Samsung never hyped in its accompanying press release.
Khan mentioned that the Galaxy S Graphic Processing Unit (GPU) can handle 90 million triangles per second against the 22 million that a Snapdragon based smart phone can handle. (See at 5m 22s in video below.)
