Clarisonic is the sonic technology to gently and effectively loosen dirt and oil to clear your pores. The Clarisonic Skin Brush kit includes the Clarisonic brush, charger, one normal brush head, one sensitive brush head, and a 2 oz Daily Cleanser. Initially the battery is to be charged for 24 hours and then it will hold for almost two weeks.
The clarisonic brush is supposed to clean the face two times more effectively than hands. The brush has two power settings, low and high and a T-timer which beeps to let you know how long you have brushed. The brush’s default setting is low, 1 min. It beeps at 20 seconds (forehead), 20 seconds (nose + mouth + chin), and 10 seconds for each cheek. The clarisonic brush is waterproof and can be used in the shower. The brush oscillates back and forth very fast at around 300 movements per second.
It cleans the skin really well and you will notice the face is much cleaner and smoother after using the brush than before. The skin becomes very soft and glows and products like moisturizers are more easily absorbed. Make up goes on more easily and flawlessly with no dry patches showing.
It should not used near the eye area which is too sensitive to be washed by a moving brush. Even though the clarisonic brush gives a blackhead free squeaky clean face it might not suit some acne prone skin. It does not get rid of blemishes and does not reduce pore size.
The brush head should be used replaced after three or four months of use; But it does not comes cheap at $25 a brush head. The clarisonic kit itself is for $195 which is quite steep.
