Motorola's Milestone XT720 is a slim (10.9mm), Android 2.1 powered smartphone with a 3.7-inch, 480 x 854 pixel, capacitive touch screen and 8-megapixel camera.
It features a xenon flash, the first Android device to do so; 10x digital zoom, and a 720p HD camcorder.
Camera features include easy panorama, face detection, multi-shot (six shots in a row), face filter, red eye reduction and camera shake prevention.
It comes integrated with a suite of Google mobile applications including Google Search, Google Maps, Gmail and YouTube; as well as Motorola's MOTONAV turn by turn navigation.
The 3G phone provides internet access using HSPA (High-Speed Packet Access) at peak data transfer rates of up to 10.2 Mbps. Transfer rates with EDGE Class 12, GPRS Class 12, HSUPA fall to 5.7 Mbps
Other features include GPS, FM radio, Bluetooth and USB 2.0.
The smartphone measures 60.9 x 115.95 x 10.9 millimeters and weighs 160 grams. Its Lithium Ion battery provides upto 4.5 hrs of talking time using a 3G network.
The Milestone XT720 will start shipping during the second quarter.
