Jha believes Smartphone will start to replace notebooks as productivity tools of choice in corporations within 2 years.
Current top-of-the-line smartphones, including Apple's recently launched iPhone 4, feature 1 GHz processors.
Motorola's recently launched Droid Incredible also uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 1GHz processor.
A 2 GHz processor will ensure smoother video playback and genuine multitasking, as in PCs.
Another Motorola executive, who didn't want to be identified, said the new Motorola device will feature an Nvidia Tegra-based graphics processor with full Flash 10.1 hardware acceleration. Like the iPhone 4, it will have a gyroscope, and a matching screen resolution. It will also be capable of 720p, HD video.
