Sprint's Samsung Epic, a Galaxy S superphone featuring 4G and QWERTY slider keyboard, will be available from August 31 for $250 with a 2 year lock in.
The CDMA phone will work with the Sprint's WiMax 4G and EVDO 3G networks, becoming Sprint's second 4G offering after HTC EVO 4G.
Sprint announced the Samsung Epic on June 28.
Samsung Epic 4G will be available in all Sprint retail channels, including Sprint.com, Telesales (1-800-SPRINT1) and national retail partners, RadioShack, Best Buy and Walmart, with Sprint Stores opening at 8 a.m. local time.
