Samsung announced two new Android 3.0 (Honeycomb) Galaxy Tabs, the Galaxy Tab 10.1 and Galaxy Tab 8.9 on March 22 at the International CTIA conference in Orlando, Florida.
Just 8.5mm thick, they are claimed to be the world's thinnest mobile tablets. The Galaxy Tab 10.1 weighs 595 grams and the 8.9, 470 grams.
They are powered by a 1GHz dual core application processor and feature 1280x800 screen resolution, 3.0 MP Rear camera with AF LED Flash, 2.0 MP Front camera, 1080p Full HD video playback @ 30fps and 720p HD Video recording.
They feature Gyroscope, Accelerometer, Digital Compass and Ambient Light sensor.
Tab 10.1 features a 6800 mAh battery and Tab 8.0 a 6000 mAh battery.
They support HSPA+ network speeds of up to 21Mbps as well as Bluetooth and Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n connectivity.
You can choose from 16G / 32G / 64G of internal memory expandable by 32 GB using a microSD card.
