Dell has reportedly pushed back the launch of its 10-in Windows 7 tablet to fall.
The tablet is rumored to be named Rosemount.
A source tells Forbes that at the earliest the tablet will be available for order in September, just before the sort of the holiday season.
Dell is also planning to launch a Windows 8 tablet, but the operating system will not be available till early 2012.
Dell has referred to the tablet as being "business-ready," suggesting that like the HP Slate 500 it will target corporate clients, not consumers.
HP launched its 8.9-in Windows 7 Professional tablet in October 2010 priced at $800.
MSI launched its Windpad 100W Windows 7 Starter tablet in January 2011.
