HTC announced its new flagship smartphone, HTC One X, on Monday, February 27, at the Mobile World Congress 2012, and it redefines what can be termed a high end smartphone.
Powered by a quad-core 1.5GHz Tegra 3 processor, HTC One X features 4.7" 720p Super LCD2 display, 8MP f2.0 camera with backside illuminated sensor and dedicated on-chip image processor; and Beats by Dre Audio.
The display is protected by Gorilla glass and can be viewed from an angle of upto 80 degrees. The laminated cover glass and touch layer eliminate light reflections.
The device can capture pictures while recording HD video and can extract a still image from previously recorded video.
The 1080p HD video camera features image stabilization and can lock focus on a moving object. It can record slow motion video by revving up to as much as 108 fps.
The smartphone features a 4G LTE radio.
It has a polycarbonate unibody design with clean lines and seamless construction.
