Luxurious dresses, bright makeup and a small portion of theatricality – one can immediately see that she is a star! The shooting was run by Ellen von Unwerth, who preferred to focus on restrained sensuality and the interplay of tones rather than on bright colors (the latter are always excessive with Katy) and presented black-and-white portraits of Perry to the public. The girl really looks perfect in the pictures : whether she is playing chess, recovering after a tiring concert or just getting ready to appear on stage. But whose merit is this: that of the photographer, the heroine, or maybe Photoshop?
