Microsoft Launches Outlook.com Web Email

Microsoft today launched Outlook.com, a more credible alternative to GMail than its existing web based email client - Hotmail.com
If you are a hotmail user, you already have an Outlook.com account, and will be logged into it as soon as you arrive at Outlook.com. But don't despair, you will get a chance to pick a new Outlook.com alias!
So, what you need to do now is stop reading this and grab your alias, before someone else does!
The interface of the new service is minimalist and it comes with unlimited mail storage and integrates with Microsoft's Skydrive, which give you 7 Gb of free storage for documents, photos and videos.
You can open, edit and share Word, Excel and PowerPoint files from within Outlook.
The ads are fewer and less obtrusive and the service has streamlined connections to social media sites like Facebook and Twitter.
