HTC has tied up exclusively with Best Buy to launch its first tablet in the US this spring, it was announced on March 22 at CTIA Wireless 2011. The Wi-Fi only Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) device will feature a 7" 1024×600 multi-touch display, 1.5GHz Qualcomm processor, a rear facing 5 MP Color CMOS camera with auto focus, a front facing 1.3 MP camera for video chat, 16GB eMMC memory with microSD card slot, and 4,000 mAh battery. Asustek Computers reportedly plans to launch 10-inch net books powered by Chrome or Android 3.0 OS and priced at $200-250 in June.
